AMELIA

PEARSON
Amelia Pearson is an American actress based in Myrtle Beach, SC, originally from Virginia Beach, VA. She fell in love with theatre at a young age and grew up performing with the Hurrah Players in Norfolk, VA.
She soon is graduating from Coastal Carolina University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance. Amelia is a versatile actress, singer, and dancer with a wide vocal range, comfortably singing everything from high belt and mix, to a rich lower register. She loves working across many styles of music, including but not limited to pop, rock, jazz, musical theatre, and country, and enjoys finding new music to fall in love with.
Off the stage, Amelia loves surrounding herself with people watching new shows, baking new recipes, working out, and spending time outdoors. She is constantly finding new random hobbies! For the past two summers, she has worked with the Hurrah Players as a teaching artist, sharing her love of theatre and dance with kids ages 5–18. Teaching has deepened her passion for the arts and reminded her why she fell in love with performing in the first place.
